Braintree Village announces opening of new designer shop

Braintree Village has welcomed another new designer name.

The designer outlet village, formerly known as Freeport, has seen lots of new arrivals in 2020 despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Crew Clothing Company is the seventh new store this year and opened its doors for the first time on Monday, October 26 2020.

The British retailer was founded more than 25 years ago on the South coast.

They sell clothing which they say “embodies the spirit of the south coast.”

With their famous crossed oars logo, Crew say that there is something in store for everyone, from their rugby shirts and casual polos to smart tailoring.

The Essex outlet store will give customers the chance of getting their hands on items at up to half price.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Braintree Village have continued to expand this year.

They have already welcomed some big named brands, including Kate Spade New York, Jack & Jones and Calvin Klein.

The village has been reopened for a few months now and have a number of measures in place to keep staff and customers safe.

There is a fully one-way route around the shops, masks have to be worn and the number of people in both the village and individual shops is monitored.
